Setting up your Account¶
Welcome to Usercentrics! Let's get you started with setting up your account, and making sure you are making the best out of our CMP.
First, log in to your account with the email you registered during signup.
Once logged in, you will have access to your dashboard:
Configurations¶
Here you can create new configurations with the following criteria:

Legal Framework: Choose the legal framework that you would like to target to a region or country.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation): The main privacy law for the EU/EEA requiring explicit user consent and providing strong data subject rights.

TCF 2.0 (IAB Transparency & Consent Framework v2): An industry standard built on GDPR to manage and signal user consent for digital advertising.

CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act): A California law granting residents rights to access, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information.

CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act): An amendment to CCPA expanding rights, including the right to opt out of sharing of personal information, and introducing new obligations like sensitive data handling.

CPA (Colorado Privacy Act): Colorado’s comprehensive privacy law covering consumer rights, including the right to opt out, and data processing.

CTDPA (Connecticut Data Privacy Act): Connecticut’s privacy law providing access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights.

UCPA (Utah Consumer Privacy Act): Utah’s privacy law offering consumer rights and opt-out options with fewer requirements than other states.

VCDPA (Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act): Virginia’s privacy law granting rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of data processing.

MSPL (Multi-State Privacy Law): A unified framework based on CPRA to address compliance across multiple U.S. state privacy laws. For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Virginia, specifically, use the state-specific frameworks above. For all other U.S. states, use this template.

Platform: Our CMP has dedicated features and configurations for Web and Apps.
Dependent on your Subscription
Given your subscription or trial, all configuration will default to the platform that you selected during signup. In case you have a subscription to both platforms, during the configuration creation flow, you will be able to choose a Platform.

Now that you have a new configuration, you may continue to Banner Configuration
Geolocation Rulesets¶
Here you can define regions to target specific configuration. You may also define a default, which will be used to target any user that is outside of the defined regions. In this case, you may choose to not show a banner at all.
User Management¶
Invite and Manage User permission for stakeholders in your organization.
Company Details¶
Overview of your company details, and edit Mode.
