If you're working with Google Ads and Analytics, Google’s deadline to implement Consent Mode v2 was 6 March 2024. The risks of inaction are loss of data and access to functions related to audience building, remarketing features, conversion modeling, and more.

If you haven’t been signaling consent information via Google Consent Mode v2 since 7 March 2024, Google will block you from capturing new EU/EEA user data for your Google audiences. You won’t be able to store new user data in your Google Analytics 4 audience lists, or share it with Google Ads. This could have a massive impact on your ability to acquire and convert new customers.
