The company is currently experiencing immense growth, particularly in the Enterprise segment. In total, the number of websites with a Usercentrics-CMP increased by 2,200 percent in the last six months. And the market for Usercentrics is also expanding internationally: Through global partnerships, Usercentrics is now represented in the Benelux countries, France and Great Britain.<\/p>\n<p><b>J\u00fcrgen Weichert, Chief Revenue Officer:<\/b> &#8220;The fact that the market for Consent Management platforms is currently bursting through the roof was to be expected &#8211; this is not only due to changing global regulations, but also by the regulatory specifications of major AdTech providers such as Google. Without GDPR-compliant consent, personal data will be of no value in the future. On the 1st of October 2019, the ECJ confirmed in its judgement concerning the cookie banner, that consent for (advertising) cookies will become mandatory (<a href=\"http:\/\/curia.europa.eu\/juris\/document\/document.jsf?text=&amp;docid=218462&amp;pageIndex=0&amp;doclang=EN&amp;mode=lst&amp;dir=&amp;occ=first&amp;part=1&amp;cid=6836046\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">C-673\/17<\/a>). In a previous ruling, the ECJ had already determined that website operators are jointly responsible for data processing using plug-ins, such as the Facebook plugin (<a href=\"http:\/\/curia.europa.eu\/juris\/document\/document.jsf?text=&amp;docid=216555&amp;pageIndex=0&amp;doclang=EN&amp;mode=lst&amp;dir=&amp;occ=first&amp;part=1&amp;cid=5620446\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">C\u201140\/17<\/a>).
