Come as you are

Thriving, inclusive company culture does not just happen. It requires collectively setting a cornerstone of what you want it to be, and committing to the work of building it. It also requires understanding that it will never be finished. Building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) organization is a process of ongoing listening and learning (and often unlearning).

A diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

We have courage to face risks and speak openly because we always support each other.
We listen, make safe spaces, and trust each other to get the job done or ask for help because we all have the same goals.
We can all build and use leadership skills, so we take initiative and value everyone’s potential, abilities, and experience.
We solve real world problems so that successful data-driven business and user privacy enable a thriving digital ecosystem.
We drive innovation by building sustainable technology and long-term relationships with privacy as our vision and mission.
We share what we have, and grow with intention, purpose, and care.
We are different and global at all levels, so we commit to equity, embracing and working through differences, and are always listening and learning.

“Cultivating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within our workplace isn’t just a corporate buzzword: it’s a strategic imperative. At Usercentrics, we firmly believe that DEI is about harnessing the incredible power of human differences to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and achieve unparalleled success.

I’m very proud to know that we are doing our part in the broader puzzle of an unfair world, and I’m excited for us to channel the impact of broad perspectives to drive positive change.”

Usercentrics DEI team

We’ve established a dedicated DEI team. Our volunteer members come from across the company and a variety of backgrounds and experiences. We work to actively shape our culture by creating structured learning opportunities and by integrating our values into our daily routines and discussions. We strategize how we can build equity and inclusion into our operations.

We aim to educate our teams by engaging them, as learning and change only come when people welcome them. We invite our team members to share their lived experiences, showing the diversity of the world and its challenges from familiar sources. We take ownership of specific initiatives to create structure and accountability, helping to ensure progress as we learn, explore, and share how diversity, equity, and inclusion affects and improves our culture.

The need to ensure that every individual feels valued is so prevalent. I firmly believe that awareness is key, and with every step we take within our organization, we can make the world a better place. As the saying goes, “start at home.” By aligning our actions with our beliefs, we can make meaningful impacts and create a more inclusive and equitable workplace.

With my eyes wide open to the injustices all around us, I’ve always had this strong need to be there for others, so joining our DEI team was a no brainer.

I wanted to build a DEI task force in the company because I know how much good this can do. I believe that every individual deserves to be treated with fairness, respect, and dignity, which requires a truly inclusive workplace. Establishing this task force reflects our commitment to advancing DEI principles, and ensuring that every employee feels valued, heard, and supported.
