NextPercent

Description

NextPercent is a Shopify studio based in Günzburg, Germany. We build and optimize online stores for direct-to-consumer brands across the DACH region: premium custom store design, platform migrations to Shopify from Shopware, WooCommerce, JTL, Magento and plentymarkets, and conversion optimization grounded in behavioral economics.

Consent management is part of every store we hand over. We implement the Usercentrics CMP on Shopify, connect it to Google Tag Manager and GA4 with Consent Mode v2, and set up server-side tagging so that measurement stays reliable once a visitor has made their choice. Because conversion work is our core business, we treat the consent layer as part of the funnel rather than as a legal afterthought: the opt-in dialog is designed and tested so it stays compliant without quietly destroying the store’s measurement basis.

What sets us apart is the combination. Most agencies either build the store or handle the tracking. We do both, which means the consent layer is never bolted on at the end by someone who did not build the checkout.

Shopify Partner and Klaviyo Partner. Rated 5.0 on Google across more than 40 reviews. We work in German and English.

Merchants come to us with three recurring problems.

1. A consent layer that breaks measurement. Tags fire before consent is given, or GA4 and Google Ads stop receiving data entirely after a CMP was installed by someone who never connected it properly. We audit the setup, implement the Usercentrics CMP correctly and wire Consent Mode v2 through Google Tag Manager, so that compliance and measurement both hold.

2. A platform migration. When a shop moves to Shopify from Shopware, WooCommerce, JTL, Magento or plentymarkets, the consent and tracking layer has to be rebuilt from scratch. We handle it as part of the migration instead of leaving it as a loose end discovered weeks after go-live.

3. Measurement that has quietly drifted. Dashboards disagree, attribution looks wrong and nobody can say which number to trust. The cause often sits in the consent layer. We diagnose the whole chain from banner to server-side tagging and repair it.

Across all three the merchant keeps a store they can operate themselves. We hand over documentation and video walkthroughs rather than building dependency on the agency.

A joint value proposition:

Usercentrics provides the consent infrastructure. NextPercent makes sure it works inside a live Shopify store and does not cost the merchant their data.

Most consent problems we see are not product problems, they are implementation problems: a banner that blocks the very tracking it was meant to govern, Consent Mode wired only halfway, or a setup that was never tested against the real checkout flow. We close that gap. For Usercentrics that means implementations which hold up in the DACH market and merchants who stay with the product because it delivered what it promised. For the merchant it means one partner for store, conversion and consent instead of three vendors pointing at each other when something breaks.

Because conversion optimization is our core discipline, we also treat the opt-in dialog as part of the funnel: readable, on brand and tested. Compliance and opt-in rates do not have to be in conflict, but that only holds if someone designs the dialog instead of accepting the default.
