Frequently asked questions
Are you a good fit for the Usercentrics Affiliate Program?
We’re thrilled to receive applications from key opinion leaders, influencers, creators, publishers, freelancers, independent consultants, trusted advisors, agencies, and similar businesses that want to earn commissions by referring their business audience (B2B) to purchase from Usercentrics directly.
Do I need to be a Usercentrics customer to join the program?
Absolutely not! Though of course we would love to have you as a customer. Usercentrics CMP is free to use for 1 domain with limited features. If you want to get to know us better before applying to our Affiliate program, you can start a 14-day free trial now to enjoy all the amazing features included in our paid plans.
What promotional methods can I use to promote Usercentrics?
We realize there’s no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to content strategy. You know your audience and which channels resonate with them far better than we do, so feel free to promote Usercentrics in ways that suit your style and brand. Many partners promote their affiliate links on their websites, blogs, email marketing campaigns, YouTube videos, LinkedIn or Instagram posts, but you are welcome to explore other avenues.
Just remember to respect our brand policy and overall program Terms and Conditions. Please read them thoroughly and in case you have questions or are unsure about trying a new strategy or idea, contact us at affiliates@usercentrics.com.
How does the program and commissions work?
The Affiliate Program offers a 30% commission on any Usercentrics CMP paid account purchased by newly referred customers during the first 12 months after signing up. There are no limits on plans or how much you can earn!
During that 12-month period, commissions will be calculated monthly after discounts/credits are applied (if any), and according to the plan that the customer has on each given month.
Keep in mind that Usercentrics CMP pricing can change based on the plans and upgrades clients choose to make on their account. This means that customers can pay different plans throughout the first year, which will be reflected on your commission amounts.
The Affiliate Program is hosted on a third-party affiliate platform called Impact. This is where you’ll find your affiliate link, keep track of your performance, access useful marketing assets, and process commission payouts from your promotional efforts.
First time using Impact? No worries! Browse their help center to learn more about the platform, or check out the free on-demand training to get up to speed.
You can withdraw your affiliate commission according to Impact’s payment processing terms.

And remember: using the affiliate tracking link is crucial for tracking referrals and attributing commissions to your affiliate account. Make sure you always include it in your promotional content!
What is the difference between the Affiliate Program and the Usercentrics Partner Program?
The Affiliate Program is perfect for publishers, content creators, business consultants, marketing and web development agencies that wish to refer their audience and/or customers to purchase from Usercentrics directly. Usercentrics takes care of all aspects of the commercial relationship with the customers you refer, and you get a commission for each referral.
The Partner Program is for agencies and service providers that are able to offer their own supplementary support, consulting, and implementation services. These partners are fully responsible for managing, servicing, and providing technical support to all the referred customers.

I referred business to you but it’s not showing up on my Impact dashboard
Don’t panic! There can be several reasons that may cause referrals to not be listed on your affiliate account.
There may be a delay in the tracking from the moment someone completes an action (e.g. signing up) to when it appears in your Impact account dashboard. Wait a couple of hours and then recheck if the referral is now visible to you.
Alternatively, the referral may not have been attributed to your affiliate account. This may happen because:
- the referral didn’t use your affiliate link when signing up for Usercentrics CMP
- the referral clicked on your affiliate link, but before signing up they clicked on different affiliate partner link, and we use a last-click attribution model
- the referral didn’t accept the required cookies when visiting our website to sign up for Usercentrics, therefore impacting the attribution associated with your affiliate link
- the referral is already a customer and has a registered Usercentrics CMP account, and therefore cannot be attributed to your affiliate account
If you think your situation is none of the above, please contact us at affiliates@usercentrics.com and we’ll investigate it further.
