Peltea sees data privacy as the next decade’s hottest growth industry

Peltea joins Usercentrics after previous leadership experience in Product-Led Growth B2B SaaS startups like Typeform (valued at $935 million when raising 135M series C in 2022), Holded (acquired by Visma in 2021, when Visma was valued at $19 billion), TradeGecko (acquired by Intuit in 2020, with Intuit having a current market cap value of $158 billion), and others. As CMO, she brings vast global experience in demand gen and growth in B2B SaaS, and will be leading Usercentrics product-led growth operations for better customer experience, and thought leadership expansion.

I believe that Data Privacy is the hottest industry of the next decade. Our company is already a leader with 70,000 B2B customers for its Consent Management Platform, and there are still tremendous growth opportunities, and we can have a huge impact on the world by making the internet a better place for both companies and individuals.
Adelina Peltea, CMO Usercentrics

Peltea summarized what brought her to join Usercentrics: “Until now, the data privacy market has been created by regulations: the GDPR, the more recent Digital Markets Act, and there are more regulations in more regions coming up. This provides excellent wind in the sails. But we are also becoming more conscious as businesses and individuals that data privacy matters. Data privacy priorities set by businesses, especially in tech, will catalyze a lot of this change in the future. For example, Google is hugely influential and is already driving this with Consent Mode.”

Mars transitions to Usercentrics from RingCentral, a leading US-based provider of AI-powered global enterprise cloud communications, video meetings, collaboration and contact centre solutions. In her most recent role, she served as the Regional Vice President Strategic Channel Partners EMEA. As SVP Partnerships, Mars brings more than 20 years of partnership experience to Usercentrics to strengthen and expand Usercentrics partnership organization globally.

In the future, any prosperous, data-driven business model will place consent and compliant data at the core of its enterprise. Usercentrics is the catalyst for jointly making this vision with partners a reality.
Michaela Mars, SVP Partnerships Usercentrics

Mars was drawn to Usercentrics by what she perceives as an increasingly essential requirement for businesses: “In the pursuit of growth, organizations require technology that simplifies the protection of data privacy. Usercentrics facilitates this process. I take pride in championing our mission to establish consent as a fundamental human right.”

Usercentics looks to accelerate global growth driven by regulations and increasing market demands

With the appointments, Usercentrics looks to accelerate global revenue growth across core markets and channels. As the passing and enforcement of privacy regulations continues around the world, there’s never been a greater need for reliable, flexible and scalable solutions for consent management, as well as additional critical data management tools.

The needs of businesses in all sectors continue to evolve as well, with ever-increasing demand for integrated solutions that meet sophisticated needs. Preference management dovetails with consent management, and is becoming a core competitive advantage for companies that want to be privacy compliant while also building trust and high engagement with their customers to drive growth. With these two hires, Usercentrics looks to harness the quickly increasing business demand for consent and preference solutions, driven both by regulatory requirements and growing consumer demands.

The Usercentrics team is thrilled to welcome these two leaders and to accelerate our goals for growth while building a world where user privacy enables a thriving digital ecosystem.
