Senator Marsden- Alexandria, Virginia, U.S. David W. Marsden (born April 5, 1948, in Alexandria, Virginia) is an American politician of the Democratic Party. He currently represents the 37th district in the Senate of Virginia, which is a portion of Fairfax County, since 2010. Senator Marsden has worked on Virginia’s new Consumer Data Protection Act which provides requirements for the controllers (owners) of the data and those who utilize or process that data.
